@marcoarment@mastodon.social I recently attended a very loud party thrown in an event hall. This was the second party we’d been to at this location and I was dreading having to step outside every hour or so just to give my ears some rest. Then I remembered this advice and, luckily, I had my AirPods Pro 3 in my pocket. It was a COMPLETE game changer. Thank you so much for the suggestion, Marco.

@merlinwisdom@mastodon.social I greatly respect the idea here, but when maintaining my employment depends on getting from Point A to Point B in a certain amount of time, and the car in front of me doesn’t move for an entire light cycle, then I can’t accept the premise.

They scrapped the subscription after backlash, so they’re no longer making any subscription revenue from it. Do you really think those cars suddenly stopped being profitable?

@blazesanders@techhub.social @atpfm@mastodon.social You could still have fewer SKUs, just give everyone access to the hardware they paid for. If the hardware is physically present, charging to access it is not reducing costs, it’s just adding an artificial limitation to the product after the fact.
