Making 3 knots towards east. I dropped the family off in Hanko and continue alone, same as last year. Not sure where I will stop today, so far it's very pleasant in the sun 😎 #sailing

Forecast for today was a bit windy, 8-12m/s. At first we didn't feel it between the islands, but later we were quick to put in the second reef. After 15nm we are now at a small island called Birsskär, with very nice protection from the southerly wind. If weather is as forecast with even more wind tomorrow, we might stay another night #sailing
What a SHIT day: first a bird drops shit on my head, then the boat toilet is clogged and needs complete disassembly 😂
Still not a bad day, we have been #sailing in very nice weather in the morning!
Now in Korpoström, funnily enough the same place I fixed our clogged toilet last year..

Today we left Marienhamn again and braved the seas.
First we went through the Lemström canal, where we wait for the bridge to open.
Then, there is quite a big open bay, and winds were still 8-12m/s. Wind is not the issue, but the waves in these open areas are too much for our small motor, so we motorsailed against the wind.
Now nice and comfy again in Kastelholm, which in theory is only 3h drive, but took 4 today 😊 #sailing
Quite exciting first afternoon in Marienhamn (not sailing related)
- some kind of racing boat show (there was a crowd earlier)
- an oldtimer car parade. So many cars, this lasted for hours! It felt like half of Åland participated
- visit to the history and culture museum, really interesting!
We went straight from Jussarö to Kasnäs, 42nm in one day is a new record for us (with kids)! It was just perfect sailing, even tacking through the narrow passages worked with hassle (ie jyst the right wind direction) 😍
Yesterday breakfast and spa in Kasnäs, then went on a smaller cruise to Borstö, 15nm #sailing

Started late afternoon on Friday, now made it about 50nm to Jussarö. Wind was low all the way, slow going, but I don't mind 😎 #sailing
