Die kaufe ich übrigens seit Jahren einfach gebraucht bei https://afbshop.de . Aber das ist halt nicht alles. Die Software und das Ökosystem sind genauso wichtig. Und so gerne ich Apple-Software mag, so wichtig finde ich ein Projekt wie #Darling, das den Wechsel einmal angenehm und gut machen könnte. https://github.com/darlinghq/darling

It once was ok when it featured the XUL interface, but then it more and more became a webapp not supporting common workflows like drag n drop. Plus, I really dislike the idea of JavaScript operating my mails.

@marioguzman@mastodon.social Apple‘s software quality sucks since years. I know that already back in 2015 I was buying third party apps because Contacts and Calendar just didn‘t do what I expected from them. Now I am at #GNOME #Evolution and it‘s easily as good (just not as good looking, but hey…)

@matuzo Hab ihn tatsächlich auch in Amsterdam an einem Kanal gesehen und fand ihn nirgendwo so gut. Kann mir den Benz-Fahrer geradezu vorstellen, der das neben ein Hausboot in einer Gracht klebt. 😁

Like, it sounded like a good solution to common problems: Stop building expensive Autobahns and as soon as the roads start melting, stay at home and have vacation. 😉
