@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org Chris Hillman from the Byrds is a Ventura County local who lives in Ojai. He and his wife Connie are members of the Greek Orthodox Church and are frequently seen at St. Barbara’s in Santa Barbara and occasionally at St. Demetrios in Camarillo. I’ve stood in line for communion behind him. He’s also a genuinely nice guy.

@bennomatic Somewhere around here I have a yardstick that I inherited from my dad, who inherited it from his dad. It’s over a hundred-odd years old and is the nicest damn yardstick you ever saw, nicely sanded and finished like it was a piece of furniture. It was from a lumber yard back in Michigan and the phone number on it, IIRC, is 23. That’s all, just two digits.

In Settings, go to Public Profile > Privacy and Reach and uncheck the box that says “Automatically accept new followers”
Go to Preferences > Other and set default posting privacy to Followers Only
