@Pettet8@mastodon.social @solarpapst@social.anoxinon.de müssten die Betreiber die Endlagerung des verbrauchten radioaktiven Materials zahlen, wären wahrscheinlich auch die schon gebauten Kraftwerke nicht rentabel. Soweit mir bekannt ist, war die Bedingung seitens der Konzerne damals an die Bundesregierung, dass die die Endlagerung übernimmt, sonst hätten die Konzerne keine AKWs gebaut. Noch dazu müssen die AkWs in FR immer öfter abgeschaltet werden wegen zu warmem Kühlwasser aus den Flüssen.

Sounds like doing something additional, when all you really do, is installing a program on your device, no? (No hate to you, I just wonder about the language) Edit: Thank you for the explanations of what sideloading is and means!

@mwichary to reduce these pop-ups by choosing the things the app is allowed to do in settings. That is also the place where you can change your decision of the pop-up later, if you want to. After you chose it normally tells you something along the lines of „you can always change this by going to „Settings -> Chrome“ in a short pop-up for a second or two. And if I don’t know why an app asks that, I search for the answer on the internet. I want to know what the apps do that I have. 2/2

@mwichary in the photo you showed it tells you why it wants permission: „This will allow you to select from available devices and display content on them.“ I am rather happy about these pop-ups, since it allows me to decide if I want to provide more data for the app in question. I do get that it is frustrating to get them often, but if an app has that pop-up very often, for me it is also an indicator to look for an alternative that isn’t as data hungry. It also should be possible to reduce 1/2
