Oh, this is damn cool. 10Base-T1S. 10Mbit standard ethernet (including POE) over a single twisted pair that's daisy chainable. @kiteless@furries.club @helloyanis@furries.club @MastodonEngineering@mastodon.social Very strangely the db:migrate step failed trying to re-do migration 20250129144440 which failed as the indexes it was trying to create already existed. I added that migration to the schema_migrations table and re-did the upgrade and it succeeded. Don't know how I got into that state, but figuring that out caused our instance to be down for nearly 20 minutes :(

@torvalds@social.kernel.org :( I feel old now. I remember compiling 0.99, dd-ing it to a floppy, trying to boot it, and it panicing because I'd forgotten to include math copro emulation on a 386SX. Start the build process again, only to end up with an image that didn't fit on a 1.44Mb floppy.
