When working with Masto and BlueSky on a text based terminal it's kind of obvious not a lot of people use alt-text (to which I'm also very guilty of)

I did a little change over to the old laptop and stuck it on the server shelf so I can VNC in. The downside is that I don't get the clack clack satisfaction of the keyboard, at the same time the mouse pad is broken from age, so I guess I improved the experience

I've been running hot with go-away (https://git.gammaspectra.live/git/go-away) for a while now and I'm really starting to like the results.
I had to put a few massively violent rules for scrapers trying to smash my blog posts, which is doing the job at blocking fake users when the signaled bots find themselves locked at the door.
It's also very good at more fine rules to allow certain federated legitimate needs pass through.
I'm far from done at tweaking, however, the results of reducing non-genuine traffic from thousands an hour to 100 legitimate users every few days is a great show to see that I'm not wasting my resources on Sam's Plagiarism Machine

Serious question, why does Firefox have its own DNS cache when my system has a perfectly good DNS crache of it’s own.
Also why is there a CloudFlare DoH server mentioned when I told Firefox no fucking DoH please because it bypasses my own DNS block lists

When you have the amount of money (and lawyers) of all the nations on earth, what is one or a collection of countries going to do about it

Doctor tells the sécu, doctor uploads doc to Doctolib, 10 days later the sécu tells my mutuelle who takes 5 days to do anything.
Meanwhile in the startup app that has been repeatedly hacked I have to find a pharmacy on that app to send the pdf to them and hope it actually works or I got to print it out and start again.
At least the sécu covers that payment there and then before demanding cash from my mutuelle who emails me to tell me they paid the pharmacy but not me for the doctor just yet
