last week i went to the museum of technology in berlin, I've been there numerous times as a child, spending saturday afternoons with my dad, finding it very boring. But going back now it was super exciting!
entering the museum one of the first things exhibited are tactile 'depictions' of some of the museums themes and I couldn't really stop thinking about the network (first picture) since.
Two more things I really liked: Timeline displaying program storage media (yes, it ends with the current storage, a cd) and a german Z11 computer from 1955

@everythingisimportant@tldr.nettime.org I am just now remembering, there's a german saying "Alles in Butter" (literally "everything in butter") for when things go smoothly

I made a poster for GitPub! (which is a small tool I am working on, using git to make a publication including git metadata. but more on this some other time)

While this is all work in progress I am curious who might be interested in using it and how.

To inquire these questions in a participatory way, I made this decision tree: moving through its branches offers an understanding for GitPub and its context. Also, the graph suggests various entry or exit points which mean to pick up the reader where they are but also admit that this tool might not be interesting, relevant or useful for everyone.

I enjoy experimenting with forms of distributing small software or scripts: this was made with Graphviz, riso printed and first presented at Leezsaal Rotterdam this monday, where graduating students of the @xpub@post.lurk.org program shared their work in progress.
