@conservancy@social.sfconservancy.org as someone who owns a Bambu Lab printer you got my "sustainership". I honestly had been closing my eyes here. It was suggested to me that even when printing in LAN mode, everything I print still gets sent to Bambu Lab and I deliberately didn't check in case it is true. I mean, as a consumer, what are my options? Just throwing a 1000€ printer away? (Those are rhetorical questions.)

Just get a Chinese conversion kit and ride it without a license. ;) For real though, in your situation getting a drivers license seems like the best choice. There is no telling how long your grandma will be able to continue walking and driving. Then suddenly you have a car sitting in front of the house and a grandma who wants to go places or wants you to get mulch for her flowers or something. On the other hand, getting a used motorcycle is probably reasonably cheap where you live and is quite fun and useful. Maybe I could come for a visit someday and we could go on a motorcycle tour. ;)

@emma@raru.re I would just try it with a "sacrificial" one. Most padded things I ever tried washing didn't care. (Bicycle gloves with gel padding, bicycle gloves with textile padding, motorcycle clothing with armor) The only somewhat padded thing I had trouble with was ties; The padding was loose on the inside and got moved around and folded during, ruining the ties. I would expect "washing bras" to be one of those things where it is impossible to get good information because there are way too many people who will confidently tell you something completely made up.

@opensourceopenmind @organicmaps I just quickly checked and @CoMaps just gives you the option to put in a custom server. Considering they have the same license, you could probably even cherry-pick the commit. I get the frustration with this and I get if there is a certain feeling of harassment. I myself feel the same way about Flathub (I know we are talking about F-Droid here), but they make the rules. Plenty of people consider not being able to change the server an anti-feature. While I personally couldn't care less on an open-source offline navigation app, it is trivial enough to just make the URL configurable. If you want the F-Droid people to treat you well, you got to do the same to them.

@trezzer@social.linux.pizza unfortunately not. I bought it used. It is very Chinese though, so Aliexpress would be the place to look. It is pretty cheap (hot glue and bad solder joints), but it gets the job done.

@enter-haken@habitat.zelle.one ich persönlich fände es nicht angemessen die Parkgebühren noch weiter zu erhöhen. In meinem Fall müsste *ich* dann mehr zahlen damit *andere* früher ins Freibad können. (Ich persönlich gehe selten bis gar nichts ins Freibad.) Mit der geplanten Erhöhung der Parkgebühren, müsste ich schon 6,20€ Zahlen um meine Oma für zwei Stunden zu besuchen. Beim Rolandsbad selbst ist das Parken dagegen kostenlos und der Eintritt ist ja auch nur 4,20€.
