@Remittancegirl I work at a local tv station where our principal editor is from Iran. He is a great guy and very talented.
He usually travels to Iran once a year or more. Because he have a lot of family in Iran.
He actually once encuraged me, a scandinavian paleface, to visit the country. That were six months ago.
Things are a lot more complicated now for everybody.

@dgar Vinyl were a thing in my youth but I always found it rickety so CD's were a revelation.
In my older years I've looked pretty deep into vinyl and record players and have concluded it's not for me.
By now I'm deep into digital recording and processing my own stuff.

@phloggen @bornhack Det var bare en af 'dick size' jokene fra min tidlige ungdom i branchen.
De havde faktisk et 8 inch floppy drev på gymnasiet, hvor jeg gik.
En gang i folkeskolen så jeg en installation i århus, hvor de brugte de store båndmaskiner med vakum og havde store udskiftelige harddiske.
Plus en stor printer af 'kædesavs modellen'.
Hele bygning havde sikkert mindre kapacitet end en iPhone 1.
