@philwaring@mastodon.lol I see Mastodon as a refuge from the kind of vile, misinformed, unplesant politics one finds on Twitter. But I don't really know, as the people I follow don't talk politics, they talk technology and writing. What is nice, though, is that people are cautious about what they say and how they say it and if what they are going to say is potentially offensive or triggering they put it behind a wall. So maybe we're in violent agreement.

@philwaring@mastodon.lol @richieholland@ravenation.club seems too strong to me to say that disagreeing is frowned upon. It is more about doing so nicely and without toxicity
