I’ve started the new Moomin game on the switch and it is super beautiful and adorable once again. They are true love letters to the source material and I highly recommend them. Very much cozy game genre and linear but well worth it #nintendoswitch

@kerravonsen the version in the pattern I am making is no holes. She used four rows on each braid so it is super dense. With two in each I could see it having holes

@kerravonsen i am actually working on a shawl currently that incorporates this type of stitch. Would also work for a headband or in a top. It is a closed structure.

@Cal for me it comes down to the quality of the text-to-speech. especially if it is a longer text. Sure some nuances might get lost but with a good one the basis can be there - but pure robo-voice is problematic imo because it can be hard to listen to over longer times since it taxes the brain more.

@daniel I would stay letsencrypt like everyone said, just be aware that if you use the combination of a caddy and have cloudflare in front of it, you need some additional work to get it to work together.

@below@mastodon.social for a long while it was just websites setting it up wrong. Then there is also a very hilarious thing about MySQL implementing UTF-8 wrong initially. Which means you need to know not to use the utf-8 setting when setting up MySQL but whatever they named the corrected replacement.

@below@mastodon.social incorrect utf-8 settings are still a thing and depending on the custom font that is used those do not always include all Latin special characters. German has the highest chance of being included but needs to be double checked always
