I've been doing some playing around with generative image AI using Fooocus. So far it's amazing at producing knock-offs of stock photos and generally knows how many fingers humans have. But beyond that it has issues figuring out basic objects.
I am still an AI skeptic, although AI is a nice tool for artists. I don't think AI generated art is going to replace professional artists. Even getting the prompting right takes a degree of precision, skill, and luck.

Barring a black swan event, the GOP is about to nominate someone that is under 91 felony indictments, is about to face a ruinous defamation judgment (and cannot stop himself from committing more defamation in the midst of trial), and is suffering from blatant and obvious mental decline.
This scenario is, without putting too fine a point on it, nuttier than a squirrel turd.

Astrobiotic has apparently had a catastrophic anomaly with the propulsion system on #PeregrineMissionOne While the vehicle is still apparently operating, without propulsion it cannot change its orbit or land on the Moon.
Space is hard, deep space doubly so. Hopefully Astrobiotic can figure out what happened and try again with a redesigned spacecraft.

The Last Jedi is one of the best Star Wars films. It tried to do something different, subvert expectations, and give new life to a stale franchise. The ending of TLJ was brilliant and evocative of a renewed franchise.
The fans revolted and demanded more fan service, so they got the soulless and pandering RoS that makes TLJ even better in comparison.
