But they are not very urban architecture, they don't work well in city centres. They are very space consuming, not good for walkers. Oslo has some micro-roundabouts and squareabouts. Not too popular or safe. Storo one up for redesign. Roundabouts = suburbs.

So the time to reach 9, 10, 11 gigapersons slow, we might not reach 12. World population is plateauing. World life expectancy has also gone up from 53 years in 1960, to 65 years in 1990, to 73 years in 2020.
