I said, "you realize if sometging fails up to 5% of the time and people are cobbling together 20 of these things to build their internal infra, that's a problem, right?" And he gave me what would be come to be known as the my-RSUs-still-vest shrug.

@mhoye@cosocial.ca @ironicbadger@techhub.social I was at github from late 2013 - 2022. They made us do Azure training. I was following the instructions as written to deploy a PKI. Imporatnt here to note I was security-ops and was responsible for PKI. It failed to deploy in Azure. I contacted a person on the Azure team who was supposed to help us with PKI. He'd been at Microsoft a long time and did the Azure PKI implementation. He said, "Oh that just fails sometimes. Add a "1" to the PKI name and run the commands again."
