My niece was kind enough to record some clips of my inept bumbling at trying to make a knife. It was a very fun experience, as whacking things with a big hammer often is, but I wouldn’t have accomplished anything if it weren’t for Jessie, the blacksmith’s apprentice who was telling me where to hit, & what angle at which to hold the hammer. Very patient man.
Artist of some sort!

I got some incense to try out my little dragon incense burner I sculpted ages ago & finally got around to glazing! Sat him on an ashtray that I lit the incense in. Works marvelously!
There’s a lot of wind because it was storming out & I like storms so I had the doors & windows open, but there’s a daytime still photo at the end showing my perfect dragon boy in all his splendor 😆
I’m going to be doing an art market with my niece, who is an old pro at those things, so I’m working on my presentation. I’ve never tried to sell my work before so it’ll be interesting! I may not sell anything but my setup will be pretty rad. 😆 I painted my logo on some scrap wood with some glowing powder mixed into my pigment.
I’ve gotten this gremlin up to 1.5 cans of squishy food per 24 hours, which is a bit more than a cat his age should eat, which is good because I’m trying to put a couple lbs of weight onto him. He lost weight when he was sick & never put it back on because he’s been such a light eater for his whole life.
@Sidlowkid@mstdn.social very casually, yeah. I pretty much remember at least the cities where they are.

- So far I’ve been able to turn all the tables over, but if I’m sufficiently bored in a hotel & a table is attached to the wall, I probably will lay underneath it & do something
