Reading commentary this morning about how Pride events are being scaled back, how Reform are winning and pulling down flags, how suddenly it all feels a lot less inclusive out there, I'm reflecting on Tip Toe and what a great piece of #writing it was.
This is just one of those moments that resonate. There's another with the same character sitting at the bar.
This landed, hard. With a mental this that still rings in my ears.
We are not living in the future the past promised us.
Yes, there is more to say, and more that this show could have said especially about Trans folks. But there is a core of terrifying truth here.
Stay safe, stay happy. And remember you are loved even if the world around us tries to say otherwise.
