@thomasfuchs@hachyderm.io one of the best solutions for carbon capture is to build out of wood instead of concrete. Producing cement uses a lot of energy and is one of the largest sources of CO₂, while building with wood is not only more energy efficient but also stores carbon and makes buildings easier to recycle.

@slyborg @nixCraft Inference providers for the top large "open" models are usually low-margin and representative of the real cost of inference, 1-2 orders of magnitude below the pricing of Anthropic and OpenAI. @nixCraft that's $5000 at Anthropic's API pricing, which includes a very large margin compare to the cost of running inference. They are unlikely to be losing money on this.
