Yep, so you can’t actually know if the recording is destroyed, it’s just contractually required to be destroyed. Big difference in my book.
Wished these sensitive audios would be processed locally and never leave the therapist’s network instead.

At some point a few years into the future you can be that interesting person people install Signal for.
I told multiple people that I don’t reply on social media. Approximately 70% of them installed Signal and the rest will just call or SMS me.

I just love how they’re actually doing a better job than a multi billion dollar company.
KDE gets more features with less resource usage while Windows 11 loses features and still their resource usage grows.

What song is the song for you and your best friend forever? "Our song"?
Many couples have a song where they’ll go like “omg they’re playing our song!!”
But what’s the song that resonates most with you and your best friend?

The name of the community is quite long. Why not just “smallstories” or “prose” or “shortstories” or “contes”?

I use a digital journal (Logseq) backed by write-only git repositories, syncthing and the 3-2-1 backup rule. This contains info about my days, struggles, friends and family and regular introspection.
Photos and videos usually get carried over from one phone to the other, synced with my home server, also 3-2-1 backup rule, and every 3y I’ll archive stuff to free up space.
Interesting knowledge usually gets shared by me via wiki.tilde.fun. I often link it to friends and colleagues when they ask me to explain stuff. Sometimes I also copy articles I write for corporate knowledge bases after work into my wiki in a more sophisticated form. I tend to not cater to 5-year-olds in my personal wiki, but it’s inevitable in a corpo setting where you have people with no experience at all.
How do you do it?

The natively compiled version?
There’s videos from Kaze Emanuar which are quite interesting about it:
