I gave my #beebug Squink a mossy log and it seemed a lot happier but was retreating inside… it came out of hiding after I set the log down in the garden though!! He sniffed many flowers there and is now napping in the log again.

Tonight we chose the colours for our outfits and hats. I’m thinking mine will be a red hat with a white lining, made of felt with possibly a wire structure. I will have a white moustache, and a cream coloured fluffy babydoll dress with big polkadots in pink, yellow, lime, and orange. Also huge buttons and an orange zipper

Before the printing press, scribes were contracted to handwrite items. They were paid on a per-inch basis, and spelling wasn't standardized yet, so apparently they made words longer so they could have increased pay. This is part of the reason why words like "friend" aren't spelled "frend" anymore, or why some words like "bell" and "shall" have double Ls, and head and season have "ea" instead of just "e".
