I work mostly in embedded, not in crypto. I agree with the post, especially on the side channel attacks and analysis. The more layers of abstraction, the more we lose precision on timing analysis. And by layers of abstraction I include hw as well (e.g. cache prefetching, etc.).

Je ne suis pas d'accord: ce n'est pas une humiliation pour la France, au contraire ça doit être une fierté.
Personne n'est au dessus de la loi, même pas un ancien président, nonobstant les pressions politiques et médiatiques. Le système a marché.
Le seul à devoir avoir honte est M. Sarkozy.
