I have no problems with artists using platforms like Xitter and Substack and the like, mainly because I understand the point of trying to find an audience for the content they produce. While I would like for the stuff that I make to have some reach, I can't say it's something I rely on, so I have way more flexibility to create things just for the sake of it and use any platform I want. Anyways, the ghost site is done [Bonus]

Right now, the hold up in publishing anything is the fact that I commissioned an artist for illustrations, instead of just relying on pure prose. I didn’t commission the artist until I was closer to finishing certain chapters, so the delay is because of the poor planning on my part. Things will be released ~soon~, though when the artist actually finishes the illustrations I’ll be able to give a better estimate other than ~soon~ [3/3]

There are some writers that I enjoy supporting on Substack, so I might not ditch it entirely. At least not while I look for alternatives to support them. I just don't think hosting my own content (and my friend's content) is a good idea atm. [2/2]

So, I'm late to the substack party when it comes to the whole "nazi" thing. Seems like a good idea to switch hosting platforms to publish the story I'm working on. My friends also agree it's a good thing to do. I'll post on tumblr for now while I figure out the self-hosting part with ghost. [1/2]

I remember hearing that Buffalonians were taking the initiative to visit Canada during these times, instead of the other way around. I can't blame Canadians for boycotting in any capacity.

I'm making a linktree because I think with self-hosting, the SEO is pretty bad. Putting all my links in one place in something that is easily searchable by google i probably a better way to prevent myself from being siloed on the fediverse and the larger internet in general.

“Reflecting on Orphan Black, 13 years later.” It’s basically a small aside to acknowledge one of my favorite shows of all time. I also try not to give away any spoilers, so I just include the general themes of the show. I just hope that now that the show is on US streaming services, more people can watch the show, and hopefully it can get the recognition it deserves! #CloneClub
