There's a not-insignificant number of decision makers in the US that believe that instigating a global war is a good thing. I kinda wish people had a grasp of this, but describing it sounds "conspiratorial".

If I cannot beat macOS's ClickFix protections in terminal, I will wriggle around them by defanging the URL with a keyboard shortcut and then letting the terminal use that version of the URL. The small joys of making your own tools.
