The 2010s had CDs finally disappearing,
CCFL-LCDs finally disappearing, ugly blocky 3D-games finally disappearing, HDs finally disappearing.
LED screens, OLED screens for phones finally became popular.
Color finally returned to normalcy again.
SSDs became popular.
Copying your files from a device to a computer finally returned to normalcy again.
The 2020s has AI and HBM.
We also have solar replacing fossil fuels.
Air quality is returning to normalcy again.
We also have medical technology like anti-obesity drugs becoming popular and possibly even anti-aging drugs.
Human health is returning to normalcy again.

That would be for North America,
but I disagree considering where the name America likely came from,
not Albericus Vespucci, Mayan “Land where wind blows often” and Spanish “rich”,
making it “The rich land where wind often blows”.
And I think that name is more fitting than ‘Turtle Island’ to be honest.
It’s been blessed with fossil fuels, especially coal but also oil and gas,
and it has a lot of hurricanes and tornadoes.
South America needs a rename though.

Did Russia provide any help to those poor souls? No. Is this what is called “freeing”?
Any money sent to displaced Ukrainians would end up in the pockets of the corrupt Ukrainian government.

Yes
It matters if you want clear definitions. People here will probably get mad over my definitions if I further lay them out.
You know those movies/cartoons/web comics where the main character guy wakes up as a girl one day and then starts freaking out like a freaky friday? Or perhaps he immediately starts checking out his own body naked in the mirror? Well that person just became a trans man/boy.
Trans refers to the brain. ‘biologically male/female’ refers to reproductive organs.

I checked out Miner 2049er, because I never had an Atari.
I see ladders, the ability to kill the creatures, no keys and no exit.
And the whole fun of manic miner was finding out
whatever was going to try and kill you next,
penguins, ball-balancing seals, toilet seats, kangaroos, steaming balls, fluff balls,
bunnies, rotary phones, a flying eye, a credit card,
and then you end up in the intro screen as the last level.

You're getting one upvote from me.
I also fully agree with everything said in brentalfloss' song
and I played it when it came out.
Worst thing about the game was the owl that kept the game from being an open world.
It was a step back from Mario64 and it came out something like 2 years later.
Majora's mask was the expectation. Ocarina of Time was what I got.

The only things that are not real that people think is real are time and space, especially space.
An illusion is when an object that is thought to have a certain shape,
turning out to have a very different shape and that usually means that
what one thinks it is seeing a solid three-dimensional object, it in reality is
just mere “smoke and mirrors”.
The moment you try and touch the object with your hand, your hand goes right through it.
Now one needs to use objects to create such an illusion, and those objects are real,
it’s the object that’s perceived to be real that isn’t.
Space is not an illusion, but it is misdefined as having the properties of an object
therefore turning something that merely conceptual as something that is real.
Yet even the most prominent scientists of today are too daft to realize this simple thing
and actually think that space is real and define it having dimensions.
And they define it as such: “You can travel through it three-dimensionally,
therefore it has three dimensions.”
While it may look like space has three dimensions, it doesn’t.
It doesn’t the same way mathematics doesn’t have
any place-value notation as a property of mathematics.
Sure, you can use the decimal system in mathematics,
but you based that on the number of fingers you have.
It’s not a property of mathematics, it’s just the preferred system we use.
And the same goes with space. Our body has three dimensions,
therefore we think space does but in reality space has no dimensions.
Dimensions are defined as the limits to where an objects stop being.
My length, height and width are the limits to how much I am.
I am not defined by how much an object can travel through me.
Space is not an aquarium with infinite volume and imaginary glass panes,
that auto-magically get an extra set of panes the moment one of the fish that swim in it
suddenly grows a new set of limbs that protrude into the next dimension.
Space is nothing. It is zero-dimensional as it has no height, no width and no length
and therefore not real in the same sense that you and me are.
And thought of space having such qualities is the ultimate illusion.

Liberals are not conservative. They are against misogyny, bigotry, racism.
So right-wing Female supremacists, Trans supremacists and Afro-supremacists.
That’s your problem there.
If all of them are complacent with rampant problems in liberal democracies like:
Worker exploitation
Campaign fraud
Imperialist propaganda
Bribes
Blackmail
Inside trading
Then THEY’RE NOT LEFT-WING!
And the US hasn’t had a left-wing party, not even a social democratic one, since the 1990s,
as social democratic parties only seem to thrive if there’s a socialist nation to look up to
and the Soviet Union fell apart as it lacked resources (coal) to do anything against the US petrodollar scheme,
That’s why Bill Clinton had been called a Repubic-lite during his reign
and Obama never delivered on his “Hope & Change”.
The only semi-left-wing ideas I see coming from contemporaries US “progressives”,
is that they’re pro-green, because that at least will help people have the resources to go left in the future.
The right stands for a ruling merchant class and a gatekeeping judicial class.
The judicial class has noble ideas for itself as a ruling class,
but they need campaign money in order to be elected as a ruler,
which the merchant class has in spades, but want their favorable laws for them to be implemented in return.
And thus the merchant class becomes the ruling class and the judicial class their gatekeepers.
That’s what the right-wing stands for, unless they’re even more regressive
and long for a kings and priests to rule over them.
Centrists, social democratic wing like FDR, try to curb the power of the merchant class,
but a true left wing will replace it with a ruling engineering class and gatekeeping scholar class that will
replace liberal democracy with a people’s democracy that can focus on creating a classless society,
because only a people’s democracy can tackle the issue of campaign fraud,
which is systemic in a liberal democracy.
And this systemic problem becomes larger and larger the more a society automates
as it causes the power of merchants to be more and more concentrated.
The US democratic party is only slowly returning to become a social democratic party
with Zohran Mamdami firmly in the democratic socialist side.
But looking from the outside, the US is like the Star Control II Ur-Quan alien race, where the US democratic party plays the role of the Kzer-za that wants the rest of the world/galaxy enslaved and the US republican party playing the role of the bloodthirsty Kohr-Ah that wants the rest of the world dead. The only thing missing in the US is a civil war between the two.

I don’t know, but what I can tell you is that
I have noticed that there had been an awful lot of Iranian in European media in Europe flying pro-monarchy flags and by awful lot, I mean all protests in at least four Western countries outside of Iran, and that it’s presented by EU media as normal or semi-normal when it should not be.
We live in the 21st century, not the middle ages or renaissance times.
Then, there’s ‘the Iranian flag replacement on X’ by Elon Musk.
I guess he likes seeing the return of monarchies too.

Depends on how your time travel works.
Real time travel would require to set everything back in place except your brain/body,
so you haven't technically traveled back in time, but everyone around you effectively thinks you have
as they'd never accept themselves as being part of a universe that's been ahead for 30 years and then reversed in place.

(Implied: the US should let Russia invade and annex them)
This type of double standard attitude…
You didn’t say this of NATO invading Yugoslavia did you?
Or for that matter Iraq, Afghanistan or Lybia.
Why not?
And the difference here is is that Russia isn’t even demanding a full-on regime change for a minority of people unlike the US/NATO.
Russia just wanted the parts where a majority of people wants an out, to be able to step out, negotiations where Ukraine steps down on it’s aggression against Russian minorities and promises not to use their country for nuclear missiles aimed at Russia in areas where Russian minorities live.
They’re not accusing Ukraine of having weapons of mass destruction without proof.
“Russia and the US have some details in common if you blur your eyes so they are morally and politically identical”
Yes, the US with it’s current concentration camps, legalized slavery in prisons, demanding peace prizes for conducting war against Venezuela among many many countries it invaded, with a history of starting out with slave owners on stolen land, “demanding to be free”, which meant not having to pay taxes for tea, then continue with hundreds of genocides and having a civil war over the discussion whether or not slavery was bad, is indeed nowhere near similar to a country that decided to dethrone their monarchs, install socialism, was a thriving success, but with fossil fuels still determining winners and losers in the 19th and 20th century, it got corrupt, is now capitalist but slowly moving leftwards with eyes more and more looking to the socialist East.

Us Europeans are being lorded over by the US and yet we don’t have ban to electricity to follow the Amish way of life, just because that’s the most backward part of the US.
We’re now living in a time where the US is telling us to tank our economy time after time ‘just to spite the enemy’, while China’s economy is growing 5+% per year.
That’s not sustainable.
At some point the people of Europe will be looking up at China and Russia for having an industry and commerce instead of letting everything be bought out by the US.
Moreover, our human rights are extremely selective and are based on the protection of the two ruling classes of capitalism, the lawyer class and the merchant (aka as donor) class, having replaced the clergy and nobility that came before.
Human rights is just one way for the laywer class to justify their actions, which primarily serves the merchant class
On top of that, none of those in power are even in Europe anymore. The donors class is all (Anglo-)American and we’re obligated to follow “international law” or “agreements with NATO” no matter what you supposedly voted for.
The moment competition shows up from China, in the US, not even the EU, then those rights the rest of us are supposed to have are immediately thrown out of the window, or for us Europeans, six months later.
Freedom of trade?
2000: “That’s what has made the US the most powerful nation in the world!”
2025: “National security threat!” “IP theft!”
“No ZTE routers, Huawei phones, or inexpensive BYD cars, for you. Sorry.”
Freedom of the press?
2000: “Freedom of speech what the US has and other countries don’t.”
2025: “Fake news!” “Ruzzian Chinese propaganda!”
“No more RT for you. Sorry. And soon we’ll be curtailing TikTok (US), Xiaohongshu (Taiwan)
and any Asian cinema as well. (US)”
Human rights?
2000: “You’re allowed to protest about anything.”
2025: “Protesting genocide of Palestine by Israel is anti-semitic and thus illegal. (UK)”

Oh!? Well this is my head-cannon of the diffences…
US Communists - Just buses? Are you kidding me? We need at least 50k km of highspeed rail, make rail travel free for all, even tourists! And seize all gigafactories and data centers to pay for it.
US Democratic Socialist - Let’s do what Europe does* and provide free bus passes next to free healthcare.
US Progressive - Let the free-market decide for men. Free bus passes only for people of minoritized identities and only if the bus will combat climate change, so diesel buses are out of the question.
US Liberal - Let the free-market decide. Free bus passes if you can prove that you’re using it to go to work.
US Right-wing - Rob the poor blind! Those who don’t contribute to society, should be punished for it. And no buses. If you need a ride, buy a car. If you can’t afford one, then get a job you filthy commie! Also, it’s the rich that contribute to society, so it should be the poor who should pay the most taxes in order to help those who keep the US economy thriving.
US fascist - Transportation should be free for everyone, but especially for the native Americans. We believe in the power of the native Americans. And this all the fault of the rich. So kill the rich, kill the rich, kill the rich…Juice! Buses are part of their (((globalist elite))) agenda, the agenda of “you will own nothing and be happy”. Look up who runs the WEF. Pay good attention to their ((( affiliations ))). So let us native Americans, who speak English and aren’t brown, unite against the Khazarian (((billionaires))) and their brown globalist allies.
Very few countries in the EU provide free bus passes, so this group would actually be more to the left than EU social democrats and more close to EU socialist parties.
