My wee ginger buddy Charlie died this week. She was the best. I loved this cat so much, but she was really unwell, and I missed it. I didn't know. I feel so bad. The little bugger was on my lap daily, purring and head-butting, and I didn't know until too late that she was badly unwell. It's taken me nearly a week to type this out. The pain is fucking huge for such a tiny street-rescue ball of fur. Goddamn it.

The strangers in the street sometimes seem uncomfortable, but that's on them.
I don't think we should have movie posters on billboards with imagery of people pointing guns at people.
I'm not saying ban the movies, but you wouldn't have (as a completely different example) a full-on porn billboard in general public places. Surely gun violence is magnitudes worse than folk bumping flesh for pleasure.
Today marks three weeks since I ordered my new home server from Amazon US. The order was accepted immediately, but it still hasn't shipped. The support chat always says it's currently closed, the call back feature only offers to call US numbers, and an international support line randomly disconnects after a few minutes on hold. I even emailed them a week ago, and no reply. I don't even know if it's ever coming.
It's tedious.

I was already awake when the earthquake hit this morning at 04:50.
It's was a couple of seconds of light, unspecified jiggling, followed by 3-4 thrusts - kind of like an amorous ghost was humping on the bed. It was all over pretty quickly.

I finally kicked Adobe Creative Cloud out of my life, and yikes that shit clings on like an ex-lover who refuses to accept reality.
First they tried to give me a million discounts, then they threated several hundred dollars of "exit fee", and when they relented and cancelled my account without a fee, the software refused to uninstall.
"Creative Cloud Uninstaller is unable to continue. Please stay, I'll change, I promise, I really will, you won't regr..."
We got there though fam, I'm free. 🙌
Monday Morning Essjax will be so pleased with me if I push through and get this work done today, but current Friday Afternoon Essjax says no. It's a pickle.

I was walking in my neighbourhood, things were normal. A crisp autumn day, low sun, birds twittering. A rubbish truck came along behind me. I didn't know I was dreaming, all was normal.
The truck came alongside, and I see it has a picture of British comedian Joe Wilkinson on the side.
It says "Joe Wilkinson's Trash Service" and I remember, in the dream, seeing him on TV explaining that 'Trash Service' sounds classier than 'Waste Removal', because, well, duh, of course it does.

I was using a business data system today. When I selected "Last Month" it gave me March 1-31. When I selected "This Month" it gave me "May 1-1"
April didn't happen.
