A new study published in npj Parkinson’s Disease suggests that simple, non-invasive brain recordings may help forecast how motor symptoms will evolve in people with Parkinson’s disease.
The baseline MEG dataset from the study is available through the EBRAINS platform as the NatMEG-PD BIDS dataset, contributing to open science by supporting data sharing and reuse in Parkinson’s disease research.

Since Monday, a team from Forschungszentrum Jülich has been presenting the Julich Brain Atlas and the digital research infrastructure EBRAINS at the Hannover Messe 2026.
The Hannover Messe is an ideal opportunity to make research visible to industry and policymakers and to initiate collaborations with partners from business and industry. This year, around 3,500 exhibitors, more than 300 start-ups, and over 120,000 visitors are expected.

The Individual Brain Charting project has released its fifth and largest update of high-resolution fMRI data, adding a new set of cognitive tasks to one of the most detailed brain-mapping datasets available today.
