They will be optimized for LLMs, and include typing hints, but use a dynamic compiler to cut all the crap that you fight with in strongly-typed languages. Tests, which every LLM already produces, and the typing hints, will replace static typing completely. Probably end up back at Smalltalk😂

@pfandrade@mastodon.social @gruber@mastodon.social I went through the transition to SwiftUI a few years back. Built a few apps with it, including for the mac. The thing is, whether it is good or bad has become a bit moot. Is anyone writing code now? I *use* everything from UIKit to next.js in my software now, because I don't *write* any of it. Programming languages and APIs are becoming invisible.

What's the story with TestFlight review for macOS? I get that the first submission for a version may take a little longer, but even follow ups are now measuring in the days. Back to the bad old days. I envy the web folk.
