First and foremost, this project is built on a solid architectural foundation. I rigorously review every new feature to assess the exact code changes and their impact on the overall architecture. I actively rely on debugging and testing tools to prevent the exact scenario you described. The codebase isn't just haphazardly thrown together but deliberately engineered and strictly monitored.
Furthermore, technical decisions are subject to careful scrutiny. For example, when implementing the new logging system, I specifically evaluated whether logs should persist across sessions or remain strictly in memory. Because this has direct data protection implications for shared devices, I deliberately redesigned the log-out process to ensure sensitive logs are reliably purged.
This is just one example, but it clearly illustrates that every commit is the result of conscious design choices, not unverified, automated output.

@eniko@mastodon.gamedev.place I totally get why people tent to dislike AI for all the obvious reasons. But this discussion is so oversimplified. If you want to see a good project which was only available with AI (because I am not a programmer), you could check out my enafore fork Zocial. I put a lot of effort into this project and really thought a about how to improve ux, feature and even security that telling it AI slop is just not fair. But I guiess its quiet easy to just rant about it.

Nutze Sie wenn möglich überall. Hoste die Keys auch selbst mit Vaultwarden.
Bei selbst gehostetn Diensten versuche ich überdies OIDC mittels Passkey authtentifizierung zu enforcen (mittels Pocket-ID). Der OIDC Anbieter unterstützt tatsächlich auch gar keine klassische Benutzername / Password Kombi mehr.
War anfangs ungewöhnlich aber mittlerweile will ich nicht mehr weg davon.

@kuketzblog@social.tchncs.de Youtube und Spotify sind tatsächlich die letzten beiden Apps die bei mir auf dem Smartphone nicht FOSS sind. Ich habe es auch bereits zwei-, dreimal versucht mit Peertube aber irgendwie macht es da noch nicht klick und man bekommt auch nicht den content, den man gerne hätte (sehr individuell).
Hast du denn eine Empfehlung bzgl. Instanz? Ich hoste zwar viel selber, aber peertube wäre dann doch etwas zu viel des Guten.

@Gina this New regulation is totally BS. I am a father of a four years old and its my responsibility to guide her through this jungle once she gets older. From my personal experience people who wants to get access will get it eventually no matter what. But the risk landscape (e.g. data breach potentials) will rise significantly with these Kind of measures in place.
