well even if news are saying "junior" do not exist anymore, I still find useful to gave less experienced people specific tasks that need to be done in one file (since they usually struggle with git) with clear input/output. "Having AI" is not a justification to give (or try to give in my case 😜 ) less structure.
(it may sound obvious but sadly I feel it need to be repeated)

My limited understanding of life cycle analysis is that they are averaging quite a lot. I am afraid they will not help you here.
They are still helpful to understand global trends but they can't reduce local complexity For example good pair of shoes, well maintain will probably minimize animal suffering, if "all think can be equal", but crappy leather shoes will definitely not (and they are the majority here).

@geospacedman Both should kind of follow sql standard (minus date/time). If your SQL script is simple it should works (huge finger cross). I do not remember on top of my head how this two are taking a file as an arg from their cli..,

Adding to that praise that:
- {gittargets} can allow you to do similar stuff than DBT to do "collaborative version controlled data transformation" (never try it since I have my own crappy function... but I should test)
- {targets} has good integration with all objects storage (S3 like).

@civodul Good to know! I am exited about Guix, I think/hope it will solve some difficult issue in the R ecosystem (but I could be totally wrong).
All of that being said I am far from understanding the underlying infrastructure of it (and the potential economic model behind it)!

I truly believe providing other languages than English for "documentations" (broadly defined in my use cases) is an amazing tasks and truly help "democratize" anything computer/data science! Great job @rOpenSci!
