New hobby: I started learning to use a sewing machine about a year and a half ago, first to hem my pants (very useful when you’re 5’2”) and then for more fun things. This summer I am making a 32”x32” quilt and am *almost* done — it’s been about 2 hours from being done for the past 4-6 hours now, haha. A friend of mine is using ChatGPT as a career coach as she searches for a new job. Given my general feelings on the subject, I’m surprised that I’m feeling tempted to do the same — though that’s probably because my own internal monologue is hitting too many walls. Anybody done this and/or have thoughts about it? Bad idea? Good idea?

@danmccullough Pretty. It looked like that here, too. Nice end to today, the first day where I’ve actually felt like I can see the end of what has been a very dark and long winter tunnel.
Most exciting (and fun to watch!) basketball game of the season: 7th/8th grade boys, grey vs yellow. My son plays on grey and they came back from an 11 point deficit (and not once in the lead) to win 43-42. Excellent playing considering the other team was quite a bit taller! They were highly motivated to win so they’re in a higher bracket for playoffs next week. 😝 Hopefully they play with that same energy then!

@Rob_l@mas.to I have seen the ads. Will likely check it out next — soul crushing winter here, so plenty of time to watch. Also, making my first trip to Northern Ireland this summer (“foreigners love the Giant’s Causeway” made me laugh extra hard), so I want to be culturally prepared!
