Humanity started confusing code generation with real technological progress.

Programmers became the new “technical elite” while heavy engineering, aviation, energy systems, and applied physics have largely stagnated.

LLMs evolve every few months.
But modern civil aircraft are still built on concepts from the last century.

It seems we did not hit a computational wall, but a collapse of engineering culture.

Corruption, nepotism, wars, massive inefficiency, and enormous waste of energy and resources all survive where reality cannot be verified precisely. Only 100% accurate information can push inefficiency into a corner, give us a chance to preserve the planet, and open the path to real scientific breakthroughs.

A world built on 100% verifiable information cannot be easily manipulated by governments, corporations, or hype cycles. In such systems, you can profit only by creating real value — not by exploiting chaos.

@lerg The problem is not that “non-technical people write code”. The problem is that the industry spent decades building systems on ambiguous data and endless workarounds. Programmers should represent no more than 25% of system-level decisions. The other 75% is engineering, process physics, and data structure. AI, no-code, and vibe coding do not solve the problem. They accelerate the scaling of chaos. If the foundation is rotten, failure is inevitable.
