@mudala@mastodon.social Hey, I use grapheneos with davx and fossify calendar. The birthdays are displayed in the calendar and are saved on the remote server. I don't have any local contacts. So it works. Maybe you have to activate the "birthdays from contacts" in your calendar app. Normally you see the birthdays in your contacts app.

@hi Using it with NFC for my passwordmanager (HMAC as second factor) and website logins (WebAuthn). Works without problems. The best option would be NFC with USB-C :)
But I have Google stuff installed and the passwordmanager has a companion app.
It looks like there is a app for the WebAuthn on F-droid. See here https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/11601-yubikey

Bought a new front plate for my solder station.
Got the station used from a company and many noses already broke off and the plastic was brittle.
The new one feels nice to touch :) but the clearance on the top and bottom is bad. Maybe something crosses my mind to make it look better. The old front plate has the same clearance but I never noticed it, haha. #weller #soldering

Did some repasting. It doesn't hurt but they used a lot of thermal paste in the factory!
For the new one I used a gum like (Arcric MX-7) paste for the first time. So far I used more paste like ones. Was surprised when I tried to spread the paste. Much better temps when under stress.
