@somegregariousdude I like Unigram; it doesn't need an add-on, but there is one on the add-on Store that may make things easier if you want.

@MutedTrampet@dragonscave.space Hi, does that CD contain other Eloquence languages please? I'd like Portuguese in particular.

@RareBird15@allovertheplace.ca @mastoblind@fedigroups.social @main I use Thunderbird. Look for the TBKeys extension, which allows you to set keystrokes to, for example, jump to the next folder containing unread messages. As for finding feeds in web pages, I use to press ctrl+u, which opens the page source, then search for the string "rss", which will display any feed the page contains.

@Aryan@dragonscave.space @TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space I see you have written an FM for Linux. Did you know StormFM? Seems quite similar: https://git.stormux.org/storm/stormfm

@nick@hkc.social @WeirdWriter@caneandable.social I don't know about mobile; on desktop, I wouldn't call it most productive, but accessible and usable yes.

@ZDL@mstdn.social @fastfinge@fed.interfree.ca @hongminhee@hollo.social Hi, for an example of a contemporary project that's technically better than Esperanto, check Globasa: https://www.globasa.net/eng

@fastfinge@fed.interfree.ca @patricus@gts.posix.live @hongminhee@hollo.social Auxiliary languages are constructed to be easier on purpose. A regular alphabet is only one of many features that must be easy on a lingua franca, and there isn't a single natural language whose all features are easy. As for cognitive ability, as far as I've observed, it seems that the teaching method counts a lot. Have you tried different methods?

@fastfinge @hongminhee This cultural selectiveness is why I am for a constructed auxiliary language as lingua franca. The most popular is Esperanto, but there are technically better projects nowadays.

@arfy @fastfinge Thunderbird supports it; just create a conversation or chat account (not sure which English word is used).

@jcsteh@aus.social Yes. Organizations are made of persons, and the majority of ordinary persons want to follow what they think are the trends.
