@Heliguy@mstdn.social Great work! I remember when I reported the bug where Warehouse would freeze with a large amount of flatpaks installed, and I'm glad to see this issue fixed! I'm also glad to see Warehouse add flatpak installing capabilities!

@DoomsdaysCW@kolektiva.social @be4foss@floss.social @kde I remember when Apple used to have Safari on Windows, Darwin (the core of modern macOS) was much more open that it was today, and their OS was modern, futuristic, and better than Windows in many ways. Now it's much more buggy, not cohesive, and more restrictive than Windows, even Windows 11 or Vista's UAC. I actively avoid macOS, not just Windows. Steve Jobs's death and Scott Forstall's firing was the beginning of the end of Apple.

When Qualcomm is working to add mainline Linux support for their SoCs but Apple isn't even lifting a finger to not only help, but make documentation available, causing everything to have to be reverse engineered, as well as the anit-right to repair crap, it really makes Macs feel like a kitchen appliance but somehow even worse.

@DoomsdaysCW@kolektiva.social @be4foss@floss.social @kde Be careful. This article is around 8 year old. Modern Macs are a PITA to get Linux working, and even Intel Macs with a T2 chip are hard.
