@pfanzola @hacknorris Unfortunately, I have had issues with Nobara, Fedora, and Kubuntu. The former two had bad Nvidia driver support. Kubuntu is often out of date and hasn't been very stable in my experience. I worry about people going from the extremely ancient (by 2026 standards) 24.04 to 26.04.

@TheEvilSkeleton Why are so many of these FOSS developers against the true spirit of FOSS?
I really don't get it! FOSS is SUPPOSED to be a POLITICAL statement against propietary software. Saying "FOSS iSn'T pOlItIcAl" is 100% wrong.
So is that nutjob developer. If he won't apologize for his posts, I'm seriously considering to stop recommending Zrythm as long as he's part of it.

@berryman @frameworkcomputer @dodgycoffee Unfortunately, AMD & Intel don't have mobile dGPUs this year. Nvidia is literally your only option for a up to date laptop dGPU right now in 2025.

@frameworkcomputer I came into the event having low hopes after the previous event and seeing no real news on the 16 inch model.
I am very glad to see the 16 inch wasn't forgotten and that Nvidia is now on board!
I do wish somehow you guys could have gotten more vRAM because above gaming above 1920×1080 with just 8 GB of vRAM isn't looking very good...

It did get an AMD Zen 5 mainboard option along with an RTX 5070 graphics module and a 240 watt power brick!
I do wish AMD actually released an RDNA 4 laptop dGPU, but it looks like it's just Nvidia this generation, which is not great. And only options with 8 GB of vRAM, which isn't great for gaming at 1440p...
