Before last week I hadn't played ice hockey since the U.S. bicentennial. Last Friday I did a 50 minute skills session, followed by a 50 minute game. It's almost a week later, and my hip flexors are still very, very angry with me. Like, screaming-at-me angry.
Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP) is doing a concert with free tickets on June 21. It includes two world premieres and two New England premieres. They're a great ensemble! Performance is at Jordan Hall. The seats are uncomfortable - avoid the balconies! (I wish I didn't have to say that, but there you go.) https://events.ticketleap.com/tickets/bmop-3/bmop-presents-premiere4 #concert #orchestra #modern #boston #bmop #free #freethingstodo
I want to play some semi-organized sports, either soccer or hockey, in Arlington MA or nearby towns. I'm an old out-of-shape dude who hasn't played sports in decades. Leagues or pick-up games would be fine. I've looked at some leagues, but they're too serious, too athletic, too expensive or have schedules/locations that don't align with mine. Anyone have any ideas?
