That’s what the scaled sort is supposed to solve. It pushes up posts that are popular relative to other posts in their communities. So even if they regularly get 0 upvotes they should still show up. I use the scaled sort on subscribed together with hiding read posts and marking posts as read when I scroll by. That way I usually see the posts made in smaller communities fairly regularly.

Not exactly a manual but I got stuck in Day of the Tentacle. Finally I caved and ordered the official hint book. Back then that meant sending them a letter. No idea how payment worked. My parents probably helped me with that. It took an eternity to arrive. A fee weeks at least. In the meantime I tried to progress the game. The day before the book arrived I managed to do it (use physics book with horse). And once I was past that I managed to beat the rest of the game. But it wasn’t in vain. The book contained the story of the game written like an essay by Bernard (basically the game’s main character). It was pretty funny. So I didn’t regret ordering it.

I don't quite get how religion plays into this but I assume you are a man and are afraid of what others might think of you if you wear a skirt instead of pants. How about a kilt? They are somewhat accepted as male skirts.

I’m so glad to be living in Germany. And that I’m a good German who insured himself against being unable to work. I’m getting an early pension and my wife is paid by health insurance to care for me. Those together with the insurance mean that we can keep on living more or less like before.

During the pandemic my wife was panicking about Long Covid. I said the chances of getting that are too low. And we got vaccinated and we masked up. Then the children went back to school, everyone got sick and now I can only lie in bed 24/7.

My friend and I went to watch Analyze This because we knew that they would show the trailer there. Luckily the movie itself was good as well. I especially loved the poem trailers. Each character had a short trailer reciting a poem. I liked Maul’s and Shmi’s the most.

This depends on the file format used for the pages. If it’s plain txt zipping them will greatly decrease the file size. If you just scanned the pages and have them as jpg, png or pdf zipping them will not greatly decrease the file size. The size might still decrease a little bit or increase a little bit.
