tbh Ada Palmer's Inventing the Renaissance being nominated to Best Related Work Hugo is a bit of a stretch, since it's a pop-history book without much of a connection to SFF beyond the author herself.
But then again, it's a great read so I'm not gonna complain about it being in the voter packet.

The new issue of "Nowa Fantastyka" magazine has my first published Spanish-Polish translation of an introduction to a non-existent book written by Sofía Rhei as homage to Stanisław Lem.
Funny that my first translation from Catalan was published before my first one from Spanish, though!

Very sad to learn of Ian Watson’s passing.
I translated one of Ian’s stories to Polish, „The Tale of Trurl and the Great TanGent”, a homage to Stanisław Lem’s Cyberiad.
I think I last saw him in person at Pyrkon in Poznań two years ago.
