@antonio106@ottawa.place If it's people that you follow, you can export those as a CSV and then import them with the "Merge" option, so it doesn't overwrite everything. If it's people that follow you, I believe (though will double-check) that it will merge into the current account (i.e. not erase the set of people that follow you). More details here: https://docs.joinmastodon.org/user/moving/#move Posts can't be moved between instances right now, unfortunately, so there's not much you can do there. Though, you can download them under the export page so you have a copy of them, and then view it with a variety of archive viewers. I haven't tried any of them, but one I've seen mentioned before is https://purr.neocities.org/about/ (the export page is under Preferences -> Import and Export in the sidebar)

@mWare@ottawa.place Hah, yeah, should have been more specific; sorry about that! 😅 I'm in the market for a small (4-6 port) desktop or under-desk switch that can do 10G back to my rack (copper preferably but I have a conduit and can run something else). I run Brocade now which I'll likely never get more of, so I'm good with Mikrotik (used before for smaller things) and UniFi (though I don't have an existing setup and probably don't want to 100% migrate over to that ecosystem). No need for PoE though I'd get it if I had the option. Also if you have any small 1U rackmounts that are cheap and/or low-power, I have a little TP-Link taped to my rack now for complicated reasons and would love to replace that with something actually rackmount. 1G is fine, no PoE or management necessary.

@lra007_@ottawa.place Yeah, that’s a great list and where I first found out about Hover. I moved one domain to Hover, one to Rebel, and both are fine? I think the Hover web interface is a bit frustrating, so I’m probably not going to stick with them. I also haven’t yet found a Canadian registrar that supports passkeys for security yet, which was one of the main selling points for Porkbun. (in fairness, I haven’t had a lot of time to look)

@gintoxicating Used to be Gandi before they sold to PE; then moved to Porkbun for a bit (who seem great), and finally trying out Hover (tucows reseller) and a few others as part of my de-USA-ifying journey. Still haven't settled on just one yet, TBQH.
