@plinth@infosec.exchange That's wild! I played two outdoor gigs last week. The first one on an old 1976 Blessing XL. The second was on a 1969 Conn 60B. Neither one required any adjustment in the slide, which I never really have had to change much pretty much ever. Same mpc on both: Reeves Purvance 5*K4. I wonder if I unconsciously adjust my tuning with my Embouchure?
