@veronica I remember liking Debian initially when trying out Linux at first but had difficulty keeping my system stable overtime. Moved to Arch which had its own learning curve, but it's been consistent for the past 5 years. I've made mistakes that would've likely been hidden from me using other distros, but Arch doesn't hold your hand and forces you to understand Linux as a system.

@zkat@toot.cat Unfortunately compliance is expensive in time and money, so all businesses want to move away from it. Only governments or consumer sentiment can stop this, but with WallStreet involved, these businesses have no desire to cater to either.

@nixCraft Unfortunately the gameplan isn't to make AI viable, it's to keep the bubble up until these CEOs sellout to the government, leaving the American people the bag holders. It's the exit strategy for all these corpos.
