I'm thinking of making a mini spin-off comic based on the snake companion from The Snake Queen.
The title would probably be something like Feng: Before Dusk, and it would be about the life of that character before they answered the call of the snake goddess.

I had a dream in which someone sent me some emails begging me to continue my old webcomic. They even set up a fan site for it, lol.
I responded "That comic ended 6 years ago, I don't even remember the plot. I also already recycled almost all the characters..."
That person was like "IDC, draw"😂

@eishiya@mastodon.art There are literally 0 options for the notifications feed. I feel like the website would be much nicer if at least the other people's stuff was located in a special feed, and the notification bar was left for things related to your account. Having these notifications just dumped like this feels:

Like I used the bell function on all people I followed on Mastodon, and
Like my content doesn't matter since some rando whose comic I read in 2016 will continue popping in my notifications, but I am not getting any on my own content. I don't remember my experience on Webtoon, to be honest, but Tapas takes the cake as the most spammy comic/novel hosting I've ever used. It also feels kinda bad that when someone does see my creations, they usually send me DMs like "I read your novel, now read mine." Then I open their page and it's some AI generated nonsense 💀

@eishiya@mastodon.art Yeah, I think you'll be better off without it. My inbox ALWAYS looks like this when I'm away. To your edit: They are messages like "This person you follow edited their comic/updated their page/posted a new chapter" Every time someone writes a post on their own profile, you get a notification in your feed. It's enough that you bookmarked only one title created by this person, and then it gives you a full summary of their activity here. I think it would be cleaner if I unsubscribed from everyone, but just dumping my content and running feels like an asshole move :/

Tapas[.]io is so incredibly spammy that I feel tired every time I am about to log in there.
The first screenshot is my notification bar shortly after logging in, the second one is my notifications after marking all the ads as read, the third one is actual stats on my novel, and the last screenshot is combined stats of all my stuff I put there.
76 notifications and literally none of them are about me, argggggggggggghh

@NovemDecimal@sunny.garden No worries. I was also weirded out by that. I normally use LanguageTool for spell checking, but I was trying out another plugin, which is called Harper. It gave me all sorts of strange suggestions, lol I started googling it, and it showed me some suggestions that it might be real, but in most pages people were just scratching their heads about it.

I made a Matrix space for my creative stuff. I know that most people aren't interested in this kind of thing, but I decided to just make it as an extension of the content I put on Ko-fi.
I will mostly put some notes and thoughts in there, and if someone REALLY wants to see that, it's out there 😂

@lnkr It is a fever dream, but I like it! The way it looks gave me a flashback to my teenage years when I heavily used 3D chats like IMVU or Twinity and I was just walking around random rooms and looking at decorations.
