Yeah, you say that when so many lgbt children lose their lives when their parents don’t accept them.
Christianity kills lgbt people.

It doesn't matter what Christianity teaches because Christians act against Christianity all the time— this is reflected in their prejudices that are specific amongst them.
It's not "some", homophobia is the default amongst Christianity.
It's wildly fallacious to suggest the majority of christians *don't * hate gay men.

No True Scotsman fallacy.
Christians wish death upon gay men all the time.
I will reiterate that homophobia kills, and christians are indefensibly homophobic, as a fact.
There's a lot that's against christian doctrines. The vast majority don't care to follow most/all of them.

2- Homophobia itself is something that kills, if you’re unaware.

The direct statements I’ve made are directly against that. You’re arguing in bad faith if you’re going to put words in my mouth for me and insist I said what I didn’t.
I can have a discussion about the present without focusing on the past or future. Saying that it is metaphysics is a non-sequitur. Not everything has to be viewed historically.

You’re saying that, why should I believe that’s actually the case?
Censorship is always done with some sort of “positive” narrative tied to it.

Give me one example of a “metaphysical analysis” I made. One.
No you didn’t, but you can feel free to think that.
The rest of what you’ve said doesn’t apply to me since, as I said, I never said it was permanent/static.
One point I will respond to is: again, I didn’t say they should be judged by future standards. There are places that are much better for queer people today compared to china. Today, not future.
“My insistence on never believing a word a Chinese person says”.
You mean that literal ONE guy on this thread? Yes, he didn’t have any compelling points. Next.
Oh, you are definitely being hypocritical, having an issue with “phrasemongering” and then proceeding to do it yourself.

I never said history was metaphysical or wasn’t something that progresses. As long as you keep reading things into my statements you’re going to keep responding to arguments I never made.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t support China, I’m saying we should call it out for the BS that it does actually do, and not treat it like divinity beyond criticism. Every time I make any criticism of China, the responses are apologetic at best.
Those issues aren’t “invented”, but I won’t go over those points again.
I didn’t say it’s permanent. It’s common sense that everything is temporary. If you’re reading that into my statements, that’s on you.
Re: chauvanism and dogmatism.
What was that thing you said earlier? Phrasemongering? Sounds like. I’ll add one: hypocrisy.

Yes, that’s the communist/Chinese defense, except it also translates to an easy excuse for other, illegitimate reasons for censorship.
Don’t like a certain guy? Censored!
You say legitimate criticism isn’t censored, why should I believe that?
If they can use censorship to oppress queer people they could do it oppress others.

You did? I must have missed it, last I recall the first thing you did was point to future projections to defend China, not say that China does have a problem with oppressing its queer people (I said it because it didn’t seem like you were about to).
It’s almost as if China is this immaculate state of perfection that can’t actually have real problems in the way it does things.
future “potential” isn’t my concern here, as I said— I’m talking about how the country currently is.

Oh, and now I'm racist. Great. Critiquing a state means I'm racist. Logical.
I have nothing against Chinese people. If you're defending things like suppression, I don't care what colour you are, I don't like that.

You can keep insisting I'm a troll if it helps you deal with not being able to engage with arguments.
China is authoritarian, but authoritarianism doesn't matter to you, so that shouldn't matter to you. Consistency, please.
And no, countries aren't "authoritarian" by necessity. Even if some amount of policies etc that would be considered such exist everywhere, you have countries that are freer and countries that have more political suppression, censorship of media outlets, etc etc.
China *does* censor it's media—political and entertainment— heavily. Just one small example.

I never said "you're evil scary Chinese people". The Chinese *state* however, is another story (authoritarian— but I know you're apathetic towards authoritarianism). I realize now that this may be evoking some sort of nationalistic reaction out of you, though.
I didn't "decide"— like I said, independent journalists and satellite imaging. And no, it's not reducible to "Western evil scary propaganda" like you're making it out to be.

I did make one, that you can oppose two things at the same time.
I could explain, but wait, you already said that authoritarianism was meaningless to you. If it doesn't matter to you, well, seems pointless to try to convince that it is actually fascist.

There are concentration camps, look them up. Numerous independent journalists and geographic satellites have confirmed this.
Uyghur being widely spoken/“in Chinese” doesn’t invalidate the testimonies of Uyghur people.
You should stop espousing the idea that there isn’t a genocide.

Russia rooting out nazis. Fighting the empire? Wild.
Putin IS a nazi. Russia IS an imperialist regime. Are we not going to talk about Russia's imperialist attacks? Is that all chill? The attacks on Ukraine are equivalent to genocide historically.
Simply because Russia is anti-US, doesn't make it free of guilt for much of the same actions the US takes.
