It doesn't matter what Christianity teaches because Christians act against Christianity all the time— this is reflected in their prejudices that are specific amongst them. It's not "some", homophobia is the default amongst Christianity. It's wildly fallacious to suggest the majority of christians *don't * hate gay men.
