@mastodonmigration @alice My usual approach is to look at their TL. If this is a pattern, I just block without bothering to reply. It seems like many of these "people" just want the responses. No need to support the BS.

@samhainnight@mstdn.social @answeradams@mastodon.social Looks like Florida has different rules for filling US Senate vacancies than US House vacancies. DeSantis can fill a Senate vacancy until the next election. Looks like a House vacancy requires a special election. Thanks for making this point. All the best to you.

I got the impression that the governor, DeSantis, could seat someone until a special election or whatever Florida requires takes place. Same discussion for Rubio and the Senate seat.

@scottjshapiro @nytimes The #NYT screwing with the 2016 election..."but her emails"...was deliberate. From 2016 on I refused and still refuse to support the NYT in any way at all. I won't subscribe and won't go beyond their paywall. They are clearly owned and operated by conservatives and are NOT a "balanced" or "accurate" source of news. My 2 cents.
