I think my problem is that I see a society as an organism. Criticizing one person or class feels as pointless criticizing a cell or tissue. They exist as part of that larger structure so if the cell or tissue changes it just increases dysfunction. The organism itself resists change, in fact, like all organisms, it spends most of it's resources on maintenance and homeostasis.

The state-socialist would have us infect the organisms' brain and control its behavior, but does not change the overall structure. So relations between cells and tissues remain much the same.

Prefiguration then is a parasitic approach. If the organism resists change, then simply grow a new organism with a different structure. Hide it within the structure of the host, camouflage it. The parasite sucks the nutrients from the host, converting host cells into parasite cells, host tissues into parasite tissues.

But there is another distinction too. Hierarchic society is an organism with a rigid structure. It's cells specialize permanently, it's tissues serve rigid purposes and are loathe to do anything else.

An anarchic society must be more like a slime mold. Cells specializing and tissues forming to complete certain tasks, achieve certain goals, then dissolving and generalizing when the task is done, the goal achieved.

Maybe you feel a bit of revulsion at my description of anarchist methods and society as parasitic and slime-moldy. But parasitism and parasitic reproduction are successful survival strategies, and while we probably don't want it to be our only mode of being, it may be the only way to break into a world dominated by tyrants. As for slime molds, they're just damn cool.

Hot take maybe, but I hate the pride flags, they are so boring, can we please do something besides stacks of colored rectangles?
