@vicorva@mastodon.art Games would be fun, but I'm always conscious that making games is a lot more work than it looks like, or I'd have poked at it seriously. I love it when a good game combines story with gameplay that really lets you explore and feel the story.

@bkendig@meow.social It's true, I've got a bunch of "novel-shaped objects" in my trunk.What made a difference for me in finishing projects was deliberately reducing the scope of my ambitions from 'epic series' to 'done in one book.' That slog through the middle is no joking matter, and with an epic story, it's just that much longer.
