HOWDY, HOWDY, HOWDY! I'M NOT YELLING AT YOU, I'M JUST EXCITED TO TALK TO YOU.
I'm still here, just not checking in as often as I'd like. Because, well - *gestures wildly at everything*. I can only read the news in small amounts lest I stroke out from rage which means I have to limit my time online, even on Mastodon. Plus life has been turbo-hectic for months now. I think the simulation is broken and my life is set to "Maximum Hard". Just stupid annoying things keep happening. Like our dryer died yesterday and it's been a hassle getting it covered under warranty. My son's graduation announcements that I ordered in February won't arrive until two days before he graduates (I'm working on getting that fixed). The tree in the front yard needs to be massively trimmed before a limb falls on our car or our neighbors car and that's going to be $500. Last week someone fraudulently used one of our credit cards on Amazon so I had to cancel that card and deal with the bank and Amazon to get that fixed. Our dentist office called me on Monday and said we owed an extra $180 for a claim that should have just been like $14 and that has taken multiple calls to straighten out. All these examples are just this past week and I swear it's been like this for months now.
Anyway, I hope to check in more often. I miss you all! I hope all is well in your world. ❤️

I'm going to pin this for a little while as more of an introduction than what is in the bio. This is a super rare selfie of me from two weeks ago - no filters. My hair looked great after a haircut so I had to take a pic. The profile pics are at least 10 years old. They are the same ones from when I was on Twitter for 14 years. Hoping it will help other refugees from the bad place to find me here. I lived in Russia in the 90's, speak Russian fluently and have a half-Russian/Ukrainian husband. Now I'm a blue dot in a red state. I love humor and silliness and hope to find others like me.
