Been about a week since I first noticed this injured pigeon. Had damage to both sides, top of head and back of neck. Severe damage to left side 'shoulder' area making flying impossible. Much better now with flying hopefully soon an ability.

On a walk through a 'NY State' park in Williamsburg Brooklyn I noticed a couple of signs relating trans rights history.

Pocket, sadly, is shutting down. This is the former Read It Later that enabled saving links and web pages found to be interesting. An RSS feed I use, Inoreader, can be used to save this info in its app. Nice.

@RawStory@mastodon.social In a NJ restaurant with friends in the '90s we compared Trump's wealth to Springsteen. One, talented, dedicated his life to his passion and worked for it. Trump, born with wealth, made his life about self glory. Unknown to us, Springsteen was at the next table.

It's in the last few decades that the American flaws have been compounded by money, which has corrupted institutions which may have not been perfect but are now totally corrupt. e.g. US SCOTUS. Repubs are wacky wealth servers and Dems are conniving wealth servers. Political wealth service being the key to an individual good life.

@georgetakei@universeodon.com You do realize that you're blaming fringe elements and at the same time ignoring the main characters, main weaknesses, in the process, repeated multiple times. Repeated forced marriages are just that. Lesser evils are not good.

@carnage4life@mas.to I've had situations where I was told to build a clock for employees to see and then after some time and effects 'the boss' didn't care for, was told to block its view. Everything worked as assigned.

@jerrylevine@mastodon.social I'd found this to be the basis of a different etiquette at Mastodon. Boost conversation pieces here much more so than at Twitville. Seems overly friendly. Sort of like pointing at someone seated next you when they say something of interest.
