Curious, but what happens if a citizen of another country:
- immigrates here
- becomes a citizen
- relinquishes citizenship in their original country
- then gets their citizenship here taken from them

@fabs@mastodon.gamedev.place I can't speak to your specific situation, but I have worked places where people-management was separated from technical management for this exact reason. Instead of having an individual contributor doing what was essentially a combination of technical management and administration of systems, they just had a role for that person. The tricky part is that in very small companies, almost everyone is doing a little bit of everything.

I'm concerned because I'm anticipating having to do the new recaptcha to access my google account and every single account I own is tied to my gmail. So if I refuse, I lose access to everything?

If you have a "go-to person" at your workplace: don't undervalue them.
If you have someone that solves problems, unblocks others, answers questions outside their official responsibilities, and often gets pulled into discussions that aren't even part of their work responsibilities: make sure you recognize their worth. Ideally formally.
Far too many organizations wake up one day to a letter of resignation from that person because they did not.

@mathaetaes@infosec.exchange @adamshostack@infosec.exchange 90 days is too short, but if you are talking about account deletion then it may result in loss of data. Depending on the platform, I think that's less than ideal. Caveat emptor.

@djb@mastodon.cr.yp.to Using both allows you to fall back on the old standard if the math on the new one is wrong, but I'm guessing this is less about the actual math and more about attack surface. The only thing I can think is that they are worried about something akin to a parser attack and are using this push for solo-pq as an excuse because they can't say that.
